General Description

IN7200/IN5B101 is a DC to DC boost converter that provides an accurate constant current designed for driving high-brightness LED backlight. Operation at a fixed switching frequency of 1MHz allows the device to be used with small value external ceramic capacitors and inductor. LEDs connected in series are driven with a regulated current set by the external resistor.

The device also built-in Overload Protection to prevent operating fails condition.

    • Wide input and output voltage (8~40V)
    • The output voltage is setting by two resistor
    • Support Short circuit protection (SCP) : Turn-onà short ckt & short Ctk à turn-on
    • The SCP setting by two resistor and the related lockout
    • The PSON signal and SCP de-bounce are setting by a external capacitor

(2) Linear dimming by voltage source

(3) Linear dimming by filtered PWM
